How Simplifying Created an Explosive Offense
I recently talked to Coach Jeff Steinberg, the creator of the Spread and Shred Offense, and he told me he’s been simplifying his offense this season.
They even cut down their run game by taking out outside zone. They run inside zone almost exclusively.
Their quarterback, Christopher Cooper, is also only a sophomore.
But their quarterback went to Coach Steinberg’s Quarterback Academy when he was in the 7th and 8th grade.
And 1454 yards and 17 touchdowns later, he’s making Coach Steinberg look like a genius only 4 games into the season.
