Building Unity In Your Coaching Staff

We are constantly preaching to our players about TEAM and that your program is a family.  This is very true for your coaching staff as well and you need to build camaraderie within your coaching staff.  I am going to list some of the things that I do with my coaching staff and all of these things are listed in great detail in my book: WORST to FIRST: How to Build A Program.

1 on 1 INTERVIEWS

I sit down with every coach whom I about to hire and go through a 2-hour interview.  I then tell them that the spring & summer is their final interview and will not commit a stipend or coordinator job until I’ve seen how hard they work.  I beleive

Coach Stewart has coached football for 27 years, winning championships with 6th graders, 8th graders, high school freshman, and high school varsity. He coached 9 years at the youth and freshman level, always serving as head coach.
